Eventim Light charges, per ticket, in Germany 3.5% plus €0.49 up to a €6.99 base price and 3.5% plus €0.99 from €7 upwards; in the Netherlands, 2% plus €0.49 up to €15.99 and a flat €0.99 from €16 upwards; in Spain, 3.5% plus €0.40 on the public sale price. Also selling on eventim.de or eventim.nl adds 10% on the base price, and on entradas.com, 6%. In all three countries, payment settles five working days after the event is marked as finished.

Eventim Light, the self-service ticketing platform from CTS Eventim, publishes three different rates in Germany, the Netherlands and Spain. For a €20 ticket, the surcharge for appearing on eventim.de, eventim.nl or entradas.com outweighs the base fee, and the money arrives five working days after the event is closed.

What it charges in each country

Eventim Light — the brand writes it as "EVENTIM.Light" — lets organisers create and manage their own ticket shop, according to the German FAQ. It operates in 12 countries; each national website publishes only its own rate:

CountryBase fee per ticketSurcharge for listing on its marketplace
Germany3.5% + €0.49 (base price up to €6.99) or 3.5% + €0.99 (from €7.00)+10% of the base price: eventim.de and point-of-sale outlets
Netherlands2% + €0.49 (base price up to €15.99) or a flat €0.99 (from €16.00)+10% of the base price: eventim.nl
Spain3.5% + €0.40 on the public sale price+6% of the public sale price: entradas.com

The payment gateway and taxes are included in all three; the German rate is confirmed by OMR Reviews in a pricing entry from June 2026.

Based on our calculation using the published rates, a €20 ticket pays €1.69 in Germany (8.45%), €0.99 in the Netherlands (4.95%) and €1.10 in Spain (5.5%). With the marketplace included: €3.69 (18.45%), €2.99 (14.95%) and €2.30 (11.5%). At that price, in all three countries the surcharge outweighs the base fee. The German and Dutch sites apply the rate to the "base price"; the Spanish site, to the "public sale price".

Who pays it isn't presented the same way on the three websites. In Germany and the Netherlands, with no sign-up, membership or fixed costs, the organiser decides whether to absorb the fee or pass it on to the buyer. On the calculator on the Spanish website, the booking fee is shown as "The customer pays" across all channels.

When it pays and what it requires to list on its marketplace

Settlement arrives five working days after the event is marked as finished, in Germany, the Netherlands and Spain. In the Netherlands, if an event is cancelled or postponed, payment arrives after refunds have been processed, according to its FAQ. In Spain, if an event is cancelled, the Eventim team cancels the tickets, notifies buyers and triggers refunds, according to the Spanish FAQ.

The marketplace has a filter. In Germany, the event goes live on eventim.de after review by the e-commerce team, normally within a few working days, according to the German FAQ, and at around 10,000 advance-sale outlets, according to Eventim. In the Netherlands, the FAQ requires a minimum of 150 tickets, a price of €10 or more, at least six weeks on sale, a square image and a description in Dutch, and Eventim reserves the right not to put it on sale on eventim.nl, which gets 4 million visits a year according to its own website. In Spain, the published requirements are about format: a 222x222-pixel image and a description in Spanish of no more than 200 characters, according to the FAQ.

To put these figures in context: how much it costs to sell tickets online, how to choose a ticketing platform and the comparison with Eventim.
